Hug Me

Materials: Sterling silver, Copper, Sapphire Dimensions: 6 x 6 x 6 cm It is not a container. It is not a vessel. It represents “holding” itself. The title of this piece is “Hug Me.” Photo credit: Guy Nicol Yuka Okane Inoue Lake Forest, Illinois. USA Words can not convey how I feel in my mind much. Since I met with metal as a material, I see that metal is the extension of myself, enabling me to express what I feel and want to express. Metals look hard, but they can be flexible. Metals have little variation in colors, but they can change the colors. There are no limitations on what I feel. There are no limitation on how metals are transformed. My happiest moment is when my feeling and metals are merged into a new existence that is exactly what I want to express.
